The PPC continues to meet on a monthly basis and is currently preparing an evening on SUICIDE AWARENESS – A COMMUNITY RESPONSE.

This event will take place on Monday night 21st March 2011 at 8p.m. in St. Columbanus Hall.  Speakers will address the issues of:

  • Prevention;
  • Bereavement;
  • Sources and Resources;
  • Impact on the immediate family/friends circle of the deceased
    • as well as those affected in the wider community

All are welcome.

The PPC members will also be attending a meeting in Holy Cross College Clonliffe on Tuesday 29th March.  This meeting is the first of three and will address the issue of the Church today.  The first meeting is entitled:  ‘What is Church’ and will be addressed by Fr. Michael Drumm.

Mr Joe Cosgrave of Bayside Parish Pastoral Council is organising a ‘music event’ later in the year.  He hopes to involve choirs and music lovers from the four ‘cluster’ parishes of Howth, Sutton, Baldoyle and Bayside.

Anyone interested in being involved please contact Joe at Bayside 832 3083
