There will be Eucharistic Adoration in the church at 4.00pm to-day, followed by Evening Prayer and Benediction at 5.00pm.
PARISH OF HOWTH - NOVENA OF GRACE
The Novena of Grace continues this week in the Church – To-day – Sunday, Novena Mass at 12noon. Mon to Sat 7th to 12th March, Novena Mass at 10.00 am each day.
GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS 25th March 2016 at 8.00pm
In preparation for the annual celebration of the Stations of the Cross, Rehearsals are taking place in the church on Tuesdays evenings, 6.50pm to 8pm. The Stations will follow the usual format - costume, music and mime. Please consider taking part in this event, which is always a most rewarding experience. New participants are very welcome – next rehearsal Tuesday 8th March in the church at 6.50pm.
FAMILY MASS
To-day - Sunday, 6th March, we will celebrate the second Mass in the parish programme of preparation for Confirmation. The pupils of 6th Class and their families will take part in the 10.30am Mass in a special way. We welcome the Howth Gospel Choir to our church to-day, at the 10.30am Mass. On Sunday 13th March we welcome the pupils of 2nd Class and their families for their next Mass in the preparation programme for First Holy Communion. We look forward to seeing the pupils' special flowers on display on the side noticeboard.
COFFEE MORNING
The Parents’ Association of Scoil Mhuire, Howth’s Primary School, will host a Coffee Morning in the P. E. Hall on Friday 11th March from 9.00am to 12 noon. Supporting Nationwide Daffodil Day on behalf of the Irish Cancer Society.
STELLA MARIS RETREAT CENTRE will host a Day of Reflection on Weds, 9th March from 10am to 4.30pm. The day invites you to take an encouraging look at the deeper meaning of Lent, through the struggle to the hope and joy of the Resurrection. Facilitated by Sally Hyland, SJG. PILGRIMAGE TO ROME - CELEBRATING THE JUBILEE YEAR OF MERCY - PARISHES OF SUTTON, HOWTH & BALDOYLE
Sunday 25th to Friday 30th September 2016 - Price €895.00 per person sharing B&B
If there are sufficient numbers interested, it is proposed that the parishes of Baldoyle, Howth and Sutton will organise a pilgrimage to Rome from 25th to 30th September 2016 inclusive, to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Mercy. This Pilgrimage offer is for booking now and will be reviewed to establish if there are sufficient numbers. The day-to-day programme in Rome will be discussed and agreed in consultation with those who have booked to travel.

Mindfulness Meditation with Joe Clarke
Meditation continues in St. Columbanus Hall tomorrow evening, Monday 7th March at 7.30pm.

Howth/Sutton Lions Club is holding a special Church Gate collection to-day in aid of St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Your support for this very worthy cause will be much appreciated by the Hospice and by the Lions.

Howth’s Primary School, Scoil Mhuire will host a concert in the church on Sunday 13th March at 4.00pm. Featuring the OffBeat Ensemble and the School Orchestra, hear favourites from Harry Potter, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, Looney Tune and much more. STABAT MATER LENTEN CONCERT
