The purpose of the week is to highlight and celebrate the wonderful contribution that Catholic Schools make to our local communities and society in general. Wednesday 3rd February is the feast of St. Blaise - The Blessing of Throats will take place after the 8am and 10am Masses on that day. Proclaiming the Word Helen Norton will bring the best out of readers by working on their use of voice as they proclaim God’s word in the liturgy. It is an opportunity to participate in a retreat with a difference, a 'Retreat in Daily Life', or a 'Busy Person's Retreat'. It is a way of making a retreat in the midst of daily living, as by taking some quiet time each day on your own, you are enabled to find God in your everyday life, in all its ups and downs. The Retreat will take place in the Parish Pastoral Centre at St. Fintan’s church. During the weekdays participants will meet with their guide for about 30 minutes.
