Sunday 8th November 2015 Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time (44/15) FATHER HOULIHAN VISIT On the 14th of October last, Kay Burke and Joe Stewart representing the parishioners, along with Sheila Maloney and Tony Sweetman representing the parish council paid a visit to Father Brendan and to present him with the thank you card signed by one thousand two hundred and fifty people. We found Father Brendan to be in very good health, great spirits and very much at peace in his retirement. He was overwhelmed by the card, particularly the number of signatures and good wishes that were expressed in the books that accompanied the card. Father Brendan especially asked that we pass on to you all his gratitude, his blessings and his prayers. The parish of Howth will always be in his thoughts as he will be in ours. The Welcoming Group will provide teas and coffees in the church after the 10.30 and 12.00 Masses to-day - Sunday, 8th November. Please feel free to stop and have a chat.
