Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time                                                     (36/13)

The Diocesan summer changes take effect in the parishes this weekend.  Overall there are fewer priests to fill all the vacancies.  To address this shortfall, the Archbishop has introduced Team Ministry in many areas, including our Parish Grouping of Baldoyle, Howth and Sutton.  The two retiring priests in Baldoyle will be replaced by just one priest.  One inevitable outcome of this development will include a closer coordination of services between the priests and the Parish Teams.  Further details to follow in the coming weeks.

The Annual Collection for CROSSCARE—the Social Care Agency of the Dublin Diocese - will be made at all Masses on the weekend of 21st /22nd September 2013

It will replace the normal SHARE Collection

CROSSCARE is involved in a wide variety of social projects in the Archdiocese of Dublin.

Since it was founded 70 years ago CROSSCARE has continued to seek to redress poverty and social exclusion.

It continues to develop new and innovative programmes and to sponsor new research to help inform policies on combating poverty and exclusion.

In reaching out to those most in need CROSSCARE operates 11 programmes throughout the Diocese.
