First Holy Communion 2013

The first Mass of preparation for children of the parish receiving First Holy Communion in May will take place at the 10.30 a.m. Family Mass next Sunday, 13th January.  This Mass will feature the enrolment of the children in the preparation programme, which includes a renewal of Baptismal Promises.  Sunday is also the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, which will make this a special day to begin our parish programme.


ANNUAL CHURCH UNITY WEEK     18th to 25th January 2013

Inauguration in Dublin will take place at an Interdenominational Service in the Church of Saint Thomas, Indian Orthodox Church, Cathal Brugha Street, Dublin 1 on Friday 18th January 2013 at 8.00 p.m.  The theme, “What does God require of us” was chosen by the Christian Communities in India.


“You shall be my Witnesses…”Parish Preparation for Confirmation Programme

 On SUNDAY 20th January at the 10.30 FAMILY MASS we will welcome the young people of the parish who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation later this year.  The young people and their parents will take an active part in the Liturgy on that day.  We invite parishioners to join parents and family members to pray for and support the young people as they prepare for this important Sacrament.  For further information contact Valerie Darby, 086-313 7850 or Barbara, Parish Office, 839 7398
