Easter Sunday  (14/15)


ECUMENICAL SUNRISE SERVICE

The EASTER SUNDAY SUNRISE CELEBRATION will take place at Howth Summit on Easter Sunday morning (5th April).  Assembly in car park at 6.40am.  This is jointly organised by all the Christian denominations of Howth, Sutton and Baldoyle parishes.  Immediately after the service, there will be a simple breakfast in the Parish Hall, Ss. Peter & Paul Church, Baldoyle.  All welcome.

Easter Monday: Mass at 11.00am followed by Miraculous Medal Novena Prayers.  Tuesday to Friday inclusive: Mass at 8.00am and 10.00am as usual.


FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

First Holy Communion for the pupils of Second Class in Howth’s Primary School - Scoil Mhuire, will take place on Saturday 9th May at 11.00 a.m. in the Church.  We remember them in our prayers.


CONFIRMATION IN HOWTH

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered to the pupils of 6th Class, Howth Primary School - Scoil Mhuire, on Friday 22nd May at 1.00 p.m. in the Church.  We remember them in our prayers.


TRÓCAIRE LENTEN CAMPAIGN BOXES

Grateful thanks to all who took part in the Trócaire Lenten Campaign.  Please return your Trócaire boxes to the Sacristy.


Mindfulness Meditation will not take place tomorrow evening as it is a Bank Holiday.  Meditation will resume in St. Columbanus Hall Monday 13th April at 7.30 p.m. with Joe Clarke.  All are welcome.


Mindfulness Meditation with Joe Clarke will resume in the Parish Hall (St. Columbanus) on Tuesday 14th April from 11.00am to 12 noon.  (No meditation on Tuesday 7th April).


Our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the cost of the flowers for the decoration of the Altar for Easter.  Our grateful thanks also to the ladies who decorated the Altar.  Many thanks to all who assisted with the Holy Week and Easter Liturgies.


Howth Folk Choir singing one Saturday evening Mass every month.  The Folk choir are looking for singers and musicians to join them.  Tel. Barbara in the Parish Office 839 7398 for more information.  Please join us – you will be most welcome.  


OUR DEAD

Please remember in your prayers, JEAN DOHERTY, who died during the week.  Funeral Mass on Monday 6th April at 11.00am.  We offer our sympathy to her sons Chris and Matthew and all the family.  May she rest in peace

ADVOCATE COLLECTION

The Sunshine Fund of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul would like to thank the parishioners of Howth for their generous support for their recent collection.  €1,302 was collected and will be used to provide much needed holidays for deserving children.
