EUCHARISTIC ADORATION IN HOWTH

Following the Christmas and New Year holiday, the weekly schedule for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration recommences on Tuesday 7th January.  The Eucharistic Adoration Group would warmly welcome new comers to adoration including those who wish to give it a try without commitment.  It involves spending an hour a week in silent prayer (in whatever form of devotion including spiritual reading that you choose) before the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the side Altar of the Sacred Heart of Jesus during one of the scheduled hours of exposition on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.  On Tuesdays the scheduled hours of exposition begin at 11:00; 12:00; 13:00; 14:00; 15:00 and 16:00.  On Wednesdays they begin at 11:00; 12:00; 13:00; (none at 14:00); 15:00; 16:00 and 19:00.  On Thursdays there is just one hour that begins at 11:00.  For more information contact Owen at 832 5574 or John at 832 4429 or 086-810 5412.

CROSSCARE FOOD APPEAL – THANK YOU

Diarmuid Martin, Archbishop of Dublin wishes to express his great appreciation to people all over the Archdiocese of Dublin for their generosity in responding to the Church appeal for the Crosscare Food Bank.  The response was extraordinary.  Crosscare staff -with at times up to 30 years experience - have never experienced such spontaneous generosity.  The food bank is now replenished but demands are growing also. Thanks to your generosity, everyone received what they needed.
