THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD

Tuesday, 6th January is a Holyday of Obligation.  Vigil Mass on Monday evening - 5th January at 7 o’clock.  Masses on Tuesday morning, 6th January at 8.00am and 10.00am.  There will also be Mass on Tuesday evening at 7 o’clock.

 

 

WEEKDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

The normal schedule of Eucharistic Hours of Adoration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays recommences on Tuesday 6th January at 11:00 am [following 10:00 am Mass for The Feast of the Epiphany]. 

 

 

CHRISTMAS DUES

Many thanks to those who sent in Christmas Dues -  your generous support is much appreciated.

 

Many thanks to all who contributed to the cost of the flowers for the decoration of the altar for Christmas.  A big ‘Thank-You’ to Marie, Mary, Kay, Margaret and Martina for the Floral arrangements throughout the year.  Thanks also to Michael Hunt, who provides the Christmas Tree every year.

 

 

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be observed from 18th – 25th January 2015.  Its inauguration in Dublin will take place at an interdenominational service in St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Clyde Road, Dublin 4 on Sunday 18th January at 3.00pm.  Fr Damian McNeice, Chairperson of the Dublin Council of Churches, will preach the sermon.  This year’s theme, “Give me to drink”(John 4:7) was chosen by the Christian communities in Brazil.

Please remember in your prayers JOHN ‘JACK’ HALL who died during the week.  We offer our sympathy to his family.  We also pray for EUGENE HUNT who died recently.  We offer our sympathy to his family. May they rest in peace.

Religious Booklets are available at the Church Notice Board.  Books are changed on a regular basis to suit the different seasons of the year.  Weekly Catholic papers are also available

Mindfulness Meditation with Joe Clarke

Meditation resumes in St. Columbanus Hall on Mondayevening 12th January at 7.30pm.

Meditation will also take place on Tuesday morning 13thJanuary from 11.00am in St. Columbanus Hall.  No booking required – all are welcome.
