DUBLIN DIOCESAN CHILD SAFEGUARDING DAY
To-day - Sunday, (3rd May) the Fifth Sunday of Easter has been dedicated as Dublin Diocesan Child Safeguarding Day. During the season of Easter we continue to reflect on the Pascal mystery, the death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. To-day we are asked to recognise, celebrate and encourage the involvement of children and young people in the life of the church, in our diocese and in our parishes. We pray God’s blessing on the children and young people of our diocese, on their parents/guardians and on all concerned for their well-being.
ADVOCATE COLLECTION
The Sunshine Fund would like to thank most sincerely the congregation of this parish for their generous contribution of €1,302.19 on Palm Sunday. All funds raised are used to provide much needed holidays for deserving children. The Sunshine Fund is a special works conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
First Holy Communion for the pupils of Second Class in Howth’s Primary School - Scoil Mhuire, will take place next Saturday, 9th May at 11.00 a.m. in the Church. We remember them in our prayers.
ANNUAL MASS AND ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Annual Mass and Anointing of the Sick will take place on Sunday, 10th May at 3.30pm in the Church
CONFIRMATION IN HOWTH
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered to the pupils of 6th Class, Howth Primary School - Scoil Mhuire, on Friday 22nd May at 1.00 p.m. in the Church. We remember them in our prayers.

ACCORD DUBLIN
An information evening for people interested in volunteering to work with Accord Dublin, providing marriage preparation programmes, will take place on Thursday 7th May at 8.00pm at 39 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2. The format of the evening will be a short presentation on the organisation and then the role of facilitator, what is involved and what commitment is required. Mindfulness Meditation
Mindfulness Meditation will not take place Monday 4th & 11th May. Meditation will resume in St. Columbanus Hall Monday 18th May at 7.30 p.m. with Joe Clarke. Meditation will not take place on Tuesday 5th & 12th May. Meditation will resume on Tuesday 19th May from 11.00am to 12 noon. All welcome.
