Posted by Dorothy Heydon THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT (09/13)
After the first two weeks of Lent, we hear once again, this week words of great comfort. We also hear challenging words as well. It is by our fruit we are known as Christians. The Gospel today leaves us in no doubt that the purpose of a Christian’s life is to bear rich fruit in how we live our lives. That fruit must surely include how we care for the most needy and most vulnerable people in our communities and in our world.
