World Day of the Sick 2013 The Annual World Day of the Sick takes place on Monday 11th February (the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes). We will remember our sick and their care givers in a special way during this week. From today, as in other years, we have a specially designed prayer card with a prayer for the sick and their carers. We will also have cards on which to write the names of family, friends and neighbours who are sick and the names of those who are carers to the sick. All these names will be remembered in prayers during the week and especially at all Masses on the weekend of 9th/10th February. The Pope’s message for the World Day of the Sick can be found on the Vatican website (under messages). www.vatican.va
