Fourth Sunday of Lent                                                                          (13/14)


There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament this afternoon, (Sunday) from 4.00 to 5.00 p.m.   Sung Evening Prayer and Benediction will follow at 5 o’clock.  All welcome.


We wish all the mothers in the Parish every blessing on their special day.



Just to remind you, the clocks go forward one hour, on Sunday morning, 30th March at 1.00am.



Rehearsals have begun for the presentation of the Stations of the Cross in the Church on Good Friday in costume, mime and music.  Please consider taking part in this event, which is always a most rewarding experience.  If you are in any way interested in Drama or Mime or in giving a hand on the night, please come to the church on Wednesday 2nd April at 7.30pm.



The First Saturdays of the Month Devotions, requested by Our Lady of Fatima, will take place as usual next Saturday (5th April) after the 10.00am Mass.  All are welcome.  In its official teaching on the Fatima Message, the Church recommends it to us because it can be “a genuine help in understanding the Gospel and living it better … “ (Theological Commentary on the Message of Fatima, by Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, 26 June 2000)

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation continues in St. Columbanus Hall Monday 31st March at 7.30 p.m. with Joe Clarke.  All are welcome.


Mindfulness Meditation with Joe Clarke will take place in the Parish Hall (St. Columbanus) on Tuesdays 1st, 8th  15th and 29th April from 11.00am to 12 noon.  Please note that Meditation will not take place in Stella Maris Retreat Centre on these dates.



The Parish Community warmly welcomes Sophia Rose McGinn, Daniel Daly Butler, Julianne Barry and Patrick Haines who were baptised recently in our Church.  Congratulations and every joy to their proud parents, Grand parents, God Parents and extended family.
