To-day - Sunday (2nd February) is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas). Candles will be blessed at all the Masses to-day. Tomorrow – Monday 3rd Feb. is the feast of St. Blaise. Throats will be blessed after the 8am and 10am Masses.
HOWTH PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The current Parish Pastoral Council was established in October 2013 and is now beginning to lay out plans for the coming year. It is intended to keep parishioners informed on progress via the Parish Newsletter and the Parish Website Mission Statement of the Howth Parish Pastoral Council : To promote and develop the Christian life of the Parish. WORLD DAY OF THE SICK 2014 The Dublin celebration for World Day of the Sick will be led by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin with the Eucharist and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick in the Church of St. Therese, Mount Merrion on Sunday 9th February at 3.00pm.

PARKING AT CHURCH It has come to our notice that a number of parishioners who parked cars on the double yellow lines on the Thormanby Road side of the church have received parking tickets. The Garda have indicated they will not allow parking on double yellow lines around the church at any time.
