ADVOCATE COLLECTION The Sunshine Fund of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is holding its Annual Collection this weekend after all the Masses. Please be as generous as you can – all funds raised will be used to provide much needed holidays for deserving children. The Sunshine Fund is a special works conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. RECONCILIATION SERVICE WITH INDIVIDUAL CONFESSION IN PREPARATION FOR EASTER This Prayer Service will take place tomorrow evening, Monday 30th March at 8.00pm in the Church. The Service will be conducted by Father Ray Staunton, SM. There will be a number of visiting Confessors. Confessions during Holy Week Thursday 2nd April 10.30 – 11.30am. Friday 3rd April 4.30 – 5.30pm Saturday 4th April 10.30 – 11.30am. 4.00 – 5.00pm GOOD FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSSOnce again we look forward to celebrating the Stations of the Cross in the Church on Good Friday in costume, mime and music. Please consider taking part in this presentation, which is always a most rewarding experience. If you are in any way interested in Drama or Mime or in giving a hand on the night, please come to rehearsal, which will take place on Tuesday 31st March at 7.30pm in the Church. The Children’s Stations of the Cross will be presented here in the Church of the Assumption by the children of Howth Primary School at 12 noon on Good Friday, 3rd April. HOLY COMMUNION FOR THE SICK AND HOUSEBOUND ON HOLY THURSDAY EVENING AND EASTER SUNDAY MORNING Parish Ministers of the Eucharist will be bringing Holy Communion to the Sick and Housebound on Holy Thursday Evening after the EVENING MASS OF THE LORD’S SUPPER (9.00pm approx.) and after the 10.30a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday morning. Parishioners who may have relatives or friends who cannot get to the Church are invited to leave names and contact telephone numbers in the Sacristy. The Ministers of the Eucharist will be happy to bring them Holy Communion on Holy Thursday evening after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper (9.00pm) and after the 10.30am Mass on Easter Sunday morning. ECUMENICAL SUNRISE SERVICE The EASTER SUNDAY SUNRISE CELEBRATION will take place at Howth Summit on Easter Sunday morning (5th April). Assembly in car park at 6.40am. This is jointly organised by all the Christian denominations of Howth, Sutton and Baldoyle parishes. Immediately after the service, there will be a simple breakfast in the Parish Hall, Ss.
