BIBLE STUDY GROUP

Saint Mark’s Gospel

Howth Parish Bible Study Group will meet on Friday 3rd October in St. Columbanus Hall at 10.45am.  Please join us – you will be most welcome.  

All Hallows College invites you to their Autumn Series of Public Talks.  Theme: The Joy of the Gospel: Evangelii Gaudium: Exploring the Teaching of Pope Francis.  Dates:  Wednesday evenings in October:  1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd.

Time: 7.30p.m – 9.00p.m   Venue: Room 4, Purcell House, All Hallows College.

Cost: €10 per talk or €30 for all four talks.  Pay at the door.  Pre-booking is recommended.

FAITH AND WORK

Breakfast event for the Business Community

You are warmly invited to a Faith & Work breakfast for the Business Community, on Friday 3rd October in the Grand Hotel Malahide, 7:30am.  Full cooked breakfast €15 pp.

Why your work matters to God and God matters to your work

Speaker: Dr. David Montgomery, (director of IFES Ireland)  This is a CBMC event (Christian Business and Marketplace Connection Ireland) organised by Howth & Malahide Presbyterian Church.  We want to equip people to lead with vision in the workplace, understanding that their work matters to God.  We warmly welcome all the community, whether one has any church affiliation or not.


FAITHFEST:  At Holy Cross College, Diocesan Centre, Dublin 3 for teenagers, on Friday 3rd October - Dynamic programmes, which support their faith and create opportunities for them to meet other young people.  This time they will be running drama, music and dance, walking meditation workshops.  Those who play a musical instrument are asked to bring them along on Friday 3rd October from 6.00 - 9.30pm. A fund-raising Musical Evening will take place in St. John the Baptist Church, Seafield Road West, Clontarf on FRIDAY 10th OCTOBER at 8.00pm.  The host for the evening will BRYAN HOEY and music will be provided by the DOLCE CHOIR.  Funds raised will go to the Clontarf Orthopaedic Hospital and Tickets - €15 are available at the hospital Reception or at the door on the night.  All are welcome.
