PARISH OF HOWTH - NOVENA OF GRACE The Annual Novena of Grace will take place in the Church, beginning on Friday 4th March at the 10.00am Mass. Saturday 5th March, Novena Mass at 10.00am. Sunday 6th March, Novena Mass at 12noon. Mon to Sat 7th to 12th March, Novena Mass at 10.00am. Fr. Bernard McGuckian, SJ will launch the Novena at the 10am Mass on Friday 4th March. FAMILY MASS IN MARCH Next Sunday, 6th March, will be the second Mass in the parish programme of preparation for Confirmation. The pupils of 6th Class and their families will take part in the Mass in a special way and we look forward to welcoming the Gospel Choir to celebrate with us. On Sunday 13th March we welcome the pupils of 2nd Class and their families for their next Mass in the preparation programme for First Holy Communion. We look forward to seeing the pupils' special flowers on display on the side noticeboard. FAMILY CONCERT - MUSIC MAKES MAGIC Howth’s Primary School, Scoil Mhuire will host a concert in the church on Sunday 13th March at 4.00pm. Featuring the OffBeat Ensemble and the School Orchestra, hear favourites from Harry Potter, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jurassic Park, Looney Tune and much more. SAINT VINCENT de PAUL - HOWTH CONFERENCE The local Conference urgently require new members to help provide support and friendship to people in need. THIRD PRINT OF MUDOAK The story of a Howth Cottage by Bernie Nestor 1995 This is a nostalgic Memoir by Bernie Nestor of her life growing up in an isolated cottage overlooking Howth Golf Club on Howth Hill. It is a social history covering several generations. It will appeal to a wide readership as well as to the people of Howth.
