HOWTH PRIMARY SCHOOL

The School re-opens this THURSDAY, 30th August from 8.50 a.m. until 12.15 p.m. for all classes from Senior Infants to 6th Class.  The School re-opens this THURSDAY, 30th August from 10.00 a.m. until 12 noon for new Junior Infants.

 

HOWTH PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK  -  SUNDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER

 Cost - €50 - which includes Coach, Lunch (Tea/Coffee/Sandwiches) and Evening Dinner at the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.  There are five seats still available.  Coach departs from Church at 7.45 a.m. on Sunday 2nd September.

Bookings may be made in the Parish Office/Sacristy weekday mornings.

BOOKS/FILMS THAT TOUCH THE SOUL

The book club will focus on reading and discussing spiritual and inspirational works from a cross section of authors.  Thursday 27th September at 8.00 p.m.  Sessions will alternate between books and films.

A REFLECTIVE ENERGISING DAY

Wednesday 3rd October  10.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.

Presenter: Sr. Sally Hyland S.J.G.

The day includes prayer, input, liturgy, personal space, 3 course lunch and tea breaks.

Harvest Celebration - Sunday 7th October from 3.00 – 5.00 p.m.  A reflection on the beauty and bounty of the harvest.

LOSS AND RECOVERY

Presented by Fr. Jim Cogley on Wednesday 17th October from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

This Seminar will explore loss in its many facets and how it is also an invitation to Wholeness

SUTTON FLORAL ART
The Sutton Floral Art Group meet on the last Wednesday of every month in the 
Marine Hotel, Sutton.  This month’s Floral Demonstration will take place on 
Wednesday 29th August at 8.00 p.m. with THERESA COLLINS.  Visitors are welcome

Howth-Sutton Horticultural Society - Autumn Show

The Autumn Show will take place between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm next Saturday (1st September) in St. Nessan's Community School, Moyclare Road, Baldoyle.  The show will feature a plant sale and a book/DVD/CD stall.  Teas/Coffees available.

WATERCOLOUR EXHIBITION
Michael Connaughton’s Watercolour Exhibition continues throughout the week, Monday 27th August
 to Saturday 1st September in Baldoyle Library.

Mon to Thurs:  10.00am - 1.00pm  2.00pm -8.30pm.  Friday and Saturday: 10.00am - 1.00pm  2.00pm - 5.00pm.  Admission is free and all are welcome.

 

KEEP-FIT BOXERCISE CLASSES
