Sunday 25th October 2015 Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time (42/15) EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT The annual period of Solemn Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament (40 Hours’ Adoration) will take place this week-end. The Exposition will begin after the 12 noon Mass to-day, (Sunday 25th October) and will continue until 5.00pm. There will be Evening Prayer to-day at 5 o’clock. The Exposition will continue after the 11 o’clock Mass tomorrow - Bank Holiday Monday (26th October) and will conclude with a Eucharistic Prayer Service and Benediction at 5 o’clock. BANK HOLIDAY - MONDAY 26th OCTOBER There will be one Mass in the Church at 11.00 a.m. followed by Miraculous Medal Novena Prayers. ALTAR LIST OF THE DEAD Envelopes for the Altar List of the Dead are available in the Church. Kindly fill in the names of those you wish to have remembered. Please complete and return to the Parish Office/Sacristy. The Masses on the first Friday of every month are offered for those whose names are on the Parish Altar List of the Dead. Mindfulness Meditation with Joe Clarke Meditation will take place on Tuesday morning 27th October in St. Columbanus Hall, from 11.00am to 12noon. Tomorrow evening, (Monday, 26th Oct.), Meditation will not take place as it is a Bank Holiday. Meditation on Monday evenings will resume on 2nd November at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome. ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS The Annual Mass for all those buried in the two Cemeteries in the Parish – Saint Mary’s and Old Abbey – will take place on Sunday 1st November in the Church at 3 o’clock. The Blessing of the Graves in both Cemeteries will take place immediately after the Mass. Brother Kevin needs financial help to provide 850 meals every day for people who are homeless or in need and up to 1,800 food parcels each week for those on the poverty threshold.
