Fifth Sunday of Lent (12/15)

SUNDAYS OF LENT

There will be Eucharistic Adoration at 4.00pm to-day, followed by Evening Prayer at 5.00pm.  Eucharistic adoration continues every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Church.  See the noticeboard for times.

Palm Sunday and Holy Week for families

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, and at the 10:30am family Mass we will be celebrating the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem, as happened on the first Palm Sunday.  Please note that palms will be blessed at this Mass but the full Passion will not be read.  Celebrations suitable for children during Holy Week include a “quiet” Mass on Holy Thursday at 5pm and the children’s Stations of the Cross at 12 noon on Good Friday.  On Easter Sunday, 5th April, we will have a special, colourful celebration of this great feast at the usual 10:30am family Mass.
