DUBLIN DIOCESAN FOOD APPEAL
A sincere thanks to all who have donated to the DIOCESAN FOOD APPEAL. The Archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin has expressed his appreciation to people all over the Archdiocese of Dublin for their generosity in responding to the Church appeal for disaster relief in the Philippines and Syria and for the Crosscare Food appeal. The response to the food appeal was extraordinary. Again, many, many thanks for your kindness. Donations may be left into the Sacristy to-day (Sunday 22nd Dec.) for collection by Crosscare, tomorrow (Monday).
VATICAN SURVEY ON THE FAMILY
Pope Francis has broken with tradition and is inviting submissions to help prepare for next October’s Special Synod of Bishops. The questionnaire in preparation for the Special Synod on the Family is still available on the tables in the Church. We are inviting parishioners to fill in this questionnaire, or as many sections as they wish, from their awareness and experience of the topics included, so that we can accurately respond to the Vatican. This is a survey on pastoral experiences and a chance for people to have their say. All opinions are welcome. All responses will be treated with total confidence. Please leave your submissions/responses in to the Parish Office/Sacristy as soon as possible.
