ADORATION FOR ADVENT

Advent is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the coming of the Christ Child at Christmas.  In this spirit of preparation, there will on Sunday afternoon (December 21st) be a holy hour of silent Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the Sacred Heart Altar of the Church from 3 pm to 4 pm followed by evening prayer to conclude by 4:20 pm.  This will be an opportunity to seek some time of prayerful peace and quiet reflection in the presence of Our Lord away from the hustle and bustle of the run up to Christmas.  Whether you can come for the full period or just for a short time you will be warmly welcome.

"Let us ask ourselves this evening, adoring the Christ truly present in the Eucharist: do I let myself be transformed by Him?” [Pope Francis in a homily]
