November Talks on Coalface Christianity In Talk number three the well known moral theologian, Fr. Vincent MacNamara, will discuss the widespread changes in beliefs and behaviour of people (especially younger adults) in recent decades. He will explain how this has happened, why it was inevitable and in many respects necessary, and how people might understand and re-anchor themselves in the world they now find themselves in. This talk will be of great interest to all age groups but, especially, to parents who are attempting to guide their sons and daughters towards authentic Christian values in the new world of today. The presentation, with discussion, questions and answers, will take place in St. Columbanus Hall at 8.00 p.m. tomorrow evening, Monday, 21st November and will conclude with a cup of tea at 9.15 p.m. All are welcome.

Dublin. The Fingal Joint Policing Committee (JPC) provides a forum for An Garda Síochána, the Local Authority Members, Oireachtas Members and community interests, to get together in a regular and structured manner. At public meetings of the JPC an opportunity is provided for local residents to make observations, and address questions to the members of the JPC on matters relating to crime and anti-social behaviour, with a view to improving public safety within their local community.
