SUNDAYS OF LENT EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENTThere will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament this afternoon from 4.00 to 5.00 p.m. Sung Evening Prayer and Benediction will follow at 5 o’clock. All welcome.
RECONCILIATION SERVICE WITH INDIVIDUAL CONFESSION IN PREPARATION FOR EASTER This Prayer Service will take place on Tuesday, 3rd April at 8.00 p.m. in Howth Church. The Service will be conducted by Father Martin Nolan, OSA. There will be a number of visiting Confessors. Communal Rite of Penance in the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside on Monday, 2nd April at 7.30 p.m. Communal Rite of Penance in St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton, on Wednesday 4th April at 8.00 p.m.
HOLY WEEK CELEBRATIONS FOR FAMILIES During Holy Week (April 1st - 8th), we will celebrate the Passion of Jesus over the course of two special liturgies designed for children. On Holy Thursday (April 5th) the 5.00 pm (Quiet) Mass is part of the Communion Preparation Masses for Second Class and remembers Jesus’ last Supper with his friends when he celebrated the First Mass. On Good Friday (April 6th) at 12 noon the children present the Stations of the Cross to remember the steps Jesus took on the day he died for us. On Easter Sunday (April 8th) the 10.30 am Mass will be a joyful and colourful celebration of the Risen Lord.
HOWTH PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES We hope to have a Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes from 12th September 2012 for five nights. HOLY COMMUNION FOR THE SICK AND HOUSEBOUND ON HOLY THURSDAY EVENING AND EASTER SUNDAY MORNING. Parish Ministers of the Eucharist will be bringing Holy Communion to the Sick and Housebound on Holy Thursday Evening after the EVENING MASS OF THE LORD’S SUPPER (9.00 p.m. approx.) and after the 10.30 a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday morning. Parishioners who may have relatives or friends who cannot get to the Church are invited to leave names and contact telephone numbers in the Sacristy. The Ministers of the Eucharist will be happy to bring them Holy Communion on Holy Thursday evening after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper (9.00 p.m.) and after the 10.30 a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday morning.

ADVOCATE COLLECTIONThe Advocate Collection will be taken up after all Masses to-day. We would ask that you be as supportive as possible. All moneys will be used by the Sunshine Fund to provide much-needed holidays for deserving children. We are a special works conference of The Saint Vincent de Paul Society and have been providing holidays for the last 75 years. Please be as generous as you can.
WAY OF THE CROSS The 10th Annual Way of the Cross through the Phoenix Park will take place on Good Friday, 6th April. Led by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, it will begin at the Wellington Monument at 12 noon and proceed to the Papal Cross. All are welcome.

This may be of particular interest to those who are sick or housebound and who may not have access to a Mass leaflet.
