The School re-opens on THURSDAY, 29th August from 8.50 a.m. until 12.15 p.m. for all classes from Senior Infants to 6th Class.  The School re-opens on THURSDAY, 29th August from 10.00 a.m. until 12 noon for new Junior Infants.

 

 

SAINT VINCENT de PAUL MONTHLY COLLECTION

The Howth Conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society will hold their monthly collection this weekend, after all the Masses.

 

 

 

SUMMER SWIM AND BARBEQUE

 

Friends of Balscadden Bay (“Fobb”) invite you to their Annual Community “Summer Swim and Barbeque on the Beach” at Balscadden Bay, Howth on Sunday 25th August  1.00 to 4.00 p.m.   Lifeguard will be in attendance.  Bring your own food - or Burgers, Hot-dogs and soft drinks will be on sale.  All welcome

 

 

CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERENCE

The Legion of Mary is hosting a two day conference in All Hallows College, Gracepark Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 on the 31st August/1st September.  Guest speakers will include Papal Nuncio, The Most Rev Charles John Brown, Fr John Harris and Fr Pat Deegan.  Fees are €40 for non-residential and €55 for residential.  For more details contact Liam 086-888 8918

HOWTH PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK

This year’s Howth Parish Pilgrimage to Knock has now been arranged for SUNDAY 1st SEPTEMBER.   Cost - €50 - which includes Coach, Lunch (Tea/Coffee/Sandwiches) and Evening Dinner at the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon.  Bookings may be made in the Parish Office/Sacristy weekday mornings.

KEEP-FIT BOXERCISE CLASSES
Keep Fit with Colin Donnelly resumes on Friday 6th September from 9.30 a.m. in Saint Columbanus Hall.  Contact Colin at

PATHWAYS – ALL HALLOWS COLLEGE
Pathways is a two-year, one night a week course for adults who wish to explore their faith.  There are no exams and no written work! The only requirement is an openness to listening to others and to participate.  Mondays from 7.00pm to 9.30pm from mid-Sept. to May over two years.  The current cost is €350 per year.
