ANNUAL MASS AND ANOINTING OF THE SICK

The Annual Mass and Anointing of the Sick will take place this afternoon at 3.30pm in the Church


HOWTH PRIMARY SCHOOL - SCOIL MHUIRE   Tuckett’s Lane, Howth

STRAWBERRY FAIR  - TO-DAY  -Sunday  -  from 12 noon to 4.00 p.m.

Strawberries and Cream, Taste of Howth, Plants, Books and Toy Stall, Kid’s Crafts.  Penalty Shoot-Out, Obstacle Course and lots of entertainment  -  A great Day Out for all the family.


A Fundraising Bring and Buy Cake Sale will take place to-day from 9am until 1pm in aid of the RNLI.  Organised by Howth local, Melanie O’Neill, all proceeds will go to this most deserving cause.  Melanie will also cycle from Paris to Nice (700km) in September for the Lifeboat Service.  The Cake Sale will take place in St Columbanus Hall, Howth Village.  Tea, Coffee, Cakes and Bakes, raffle, treats and goodies!  All are welcome.


FAMILY MASS CELEBRATION 22nd JUNE

Next Sunday, 22nd June, the 10.30am Family Mass will be a special celebration of the family and all the children who have received Sacraments this year.  We look forward to welcoming everyone to this special Mass and refreshments afterwards in St. Columbanus Hall.


FINGAL AND BALGRIFFIN CEMETERIES

The annual cemetery Mass in Fingal takes place on Sunday 22nd June at 12noon.  The annual cemetery Mass in Balgriffin takes place on Sunday 6th July at 3.00 pm.

AN ASHRAM EXPERIENCE

Korko Moses, a Jesuit priest from India, meditation teacher and yoga master, will lead the ashram experience.

Time for Meditation, Yoga (gentle stretches) and Spiritual direction.  A Time of Silence, Simplicity, Equanimity.  Residential €85 per day (includes meals),  Day attendees €55 per day (includes meals) 7.30am to 8.00pm – Limited places.

11th WORLD FLOWER SHOW

St. VINCENT DE PAUL - ST.CLARE’S CONFERENCE

Volunteers required urgently: St.Clare’s Conference serves the Priorswood Area (Coolock)and are currently looking for new members to join the visiting teams in addition to one new member to act as Treasurer, as the current Treasurer is retiring at the end of this year- this position is a no-visiting role, ideally with some computer skills.  This is a pro-active Conference which hosts a special Learning for Life educational programme for children of the families they visit.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact:  Kay Burke – Tel. 087-974 9005
