THE EVENTS OF HOLY WEEK
Critical questions and new perspectives
Presented by Dr. Kieran J. O’Mahony, OSA
It is hard to be a Christian and particularly so in our times and culture. Is there a God? Who was Jesus? What happened for us in the birth and ministry, death and resurrection? This series of talks will explore what it is that lies at the very heart of Christian faith: the person of Jesus and the events of Holy Week. The presentations will include plenty of time for further questions and discussions.
Monday 5th March 7.30 p.m. Do we still need (or even want) to be saved?
Monday 12th March 7.30 p.m. Was the cross a mistake?
Monday 19th March 7.30 p.m. Where was God on Good Friday?
All presentations, with questions and discussion will take place in the MARINE HOTEL, SUTTON
at 7.30 p.m..
