Sunday 10th April 2016 Third Sunday of Easter (15/16) ANNUAL COLLECTION FOR FORMATION OF STUDENTS FOR PRIESTHOOD Next Sunday – 16th/17th April, SPECIAL COLLECTION TO SUPPORT THE FORMATION OF STUDENTS FOR THE PRIESTHOOD. This is an opportunity for us all to reflect on our Baptismal calling to live a life of grace and holiness and to pray for and foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This collection will replace the SHARE collection. Thank you for your generosity to this collection in previous years. SAINT VINCENT De PAUL SOCIETY The local Conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society will hold their monthly collection to-day – after all the Masses. PARISH ASSEMBLY You are warmly invited to a Parish Assembly on Tuesday evening, 19th April 2016 from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. The Assembly will reflect on the future development of the parish and plan our pastoral priorities in the year ahead. The Assembly will take place in the church and all parishioners are welcome. If there are any particular issues you would like discussed, please submit in writing and leave into the Parish Office/Sacristy. Come along to your Parish Assembly and have your voice heard - Being there, you can make a difference! The Assembly will be facilitated by Ms. Eilis Monaghan. St Mary’s Church of Ireland, Deerpark, Howth St. Mary's Church of Ireland is celebrating its 200th Anniversary this year and to mark the occasion they have produced a history of the parish to be launched on Friday 15th April in their Parish Centre at 8pm. The evening will begin with a complementary glass of wine and refreshments and the book will be officially launched by Cecil Hyland. This very attractive volume will give insights not only into the history of the church at St Mary’s but also into the people that have made the Parish what it is down through the years. Copies €10 will be available on the night. FUND-RAISING RACE NIGHT Beann Eadair G.A.A. Club will host a RACE NIGHT on Saturday 16th April at 8.00pm in the Club House.
