Thirty Second Sunday in Ordinary Time (45/13)
ANNUAL CROSSCARE/CATHOLIC YOUTH CARE (C.Y.C.) COLLECTION
The Annual Collection for CATHOLIC YOUTH CARE (the Diocesan Youth Service) will be made at all the Masses to-day. This collection will replace the usual SHARE collection.
Catholic Youth Care supports and services youth work and youth ministry throughout the Dublin Diocese. Through their various services and programmes to young people and youth groups, they reach out to many of the most marginalised young people in the Archdiocese.
First Holy Communion 2014
The Parish Programme of preparation for First Holy Communion 2014 begins to-day - Sunday at the 10.30am Family Mass. The children of the parish preparing for First Holy Communion will be enrolled in the programme and this special Mass will feature a renewal of baptismal promises. First Holy Communion is the next step after Baptism in the sacramental journey of faith for our young children. This is why the children themselves will make their baptismal promises, something that their Godparents did for them at Baptism.
