ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS
The Annual Mass for all those buried in the
two Cemeteries in the Parish - Saint Mary’s and Old Abbey – will take place To-day
– Sunday,
4th November in the Church at 3 o’clock. The Blessing of the Graves
in both Cemeteries will follow immediately after the Mass.
ANNUAL MASS FOR THOSE WHO DIED IN THE PAST YEAR
This Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday 22nd November at 8.00 p.m. in the Church.
SPECIAL MASS FOR ALL THOSE LOST AT SEA
Saturday 24th November
Annual Mass for all those lost at sea in the Sea Angling Centre
on the West Pier at 3.00 p.m.
CATHOLIC
YOUTH CARE (C.Y.C.)
The Annual Collection for CATHOLIC YOUTH CARE (the
Diocesan Youth Service) will be made at all the Masses next week-end (10th
and 11th November) This
collection will replace the usual SHARE collection.
Catholic Youth Care supports and services youth work
and youth ministry throughout the Dublin Diocese. Through their various services and programmes
to young people and youth groups, they reach out to many of the most
marginalised young people in the Archdiocese.
YEAR OF FAITH - FRIDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
GROUP
As a practical way of
participating in the Year of Faith you are welcome to join our Bible Study
Group. Our next session will be on
Friday 9th November at 11am in Sutton Parish Centre. We will conclude our study of the Letter
of James (chapters 3-5). ALL ARE

CHRISTMAS
AUCTION IN AID OF SAINT FRANCIS HOSPICE, RAHENY
The Christmas Auction in aid of Saint Francis Hospice, Raheny will take
place on Sunday, 18th November in the Abbey Tavern,
Howth, starting at 2.00 p.m. The organising Committee are asking for your
generous and kind support once again for this deserving cause. They are looking for unwanted gifts, china,
pictures/paintings, bottles (Wine and Spirits) glassware and vouchers. Everything must be good as new or in
excellent condition. Please come along
on the day to bid and buy and make it a great day for everyone.

CHARITY SALE OF WORK

In aid of the Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless people
Brother Kevin needs financial help to provide 700 meals every day for people who are homeless or in need and up to 1,500 food parcels each week for those on the poverty threshold. Please support this most deserving cause – Bric a Brac, Books, Cakes and Raffle.
