There will be a meeting for all Ministers of
the Word tomorrow evening, Monday,
17th September at 8.00 p.m. in St Columbanus Hall. We hope to change the way in which
rosters for Ministers of the Word are compiled and we will present the plan and
the draft roster at the meeting. To our
Ministers of the Word a big thank you for all you do to enhance our celebration
of the Eucharist at the weekday Masses and at the weekends. If you are not a Minister of the Word but
would like to find out more about becoming one please enquire in the Parish

BIBLE STUDY GROUP
Following
on from the International Eucharistic Congress and the great interest shown in
adult faith development as well as the imminent Year of Faith (beginning
October 11th), the parish in Sutton are exploring the possibility of
starting up a Bible Study Group. The aim
of the Group is to give people an opportunity to learn about Scripture and in
so doing deepen their understanding of how the Word of God is alive and active
in their lives. The sessions will also
give people an opportunity to meet in a relaxed friendly environment and
support each other as they grow in faith together. For further information, please contact
James in Sutton Parish Office – Tel. 839 2001.
