First Holy Communion 2011

18th to 25th January 2011
Inauguration in Dublin will take place at an Interdenominational Service in the Church of John the Baptist (Church of Ireland) Seafield Road, Clontarf, on Tuesday 18th January 2011 at 8.00 p.m.  Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has been invited to preach the Homily at the Service.  All welcome.
The theme, “One in the Apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer” was chosen by a group of Christian leaders from Jerusalem and is based on the book of Acts (2:42)  It is a call for inspiration and renewal; a return to the essentials of the faith; it is a call to remember the time when the Church was still one.
The Churches Together in Britain and Ireland website has the information and other material available on  All welcome.
