CATHOLIC YOUTH CARE (C.Y.C.)
The Annual Collection for Catholic Youth Care (the Diocesan Youth Service) will be made at all the Masses this week-end.  This collection will replace the usual SHARE collection.

RAINBOW MASS
To-day - Sunday, 14th November, Class pupils from Howth National School – Scoil Mhuire – will play a vital role in the Howth Parish 12.00 noon Mass.  The pupils of 6th Class will illustrate the story of the Rainbow.

A two part series to be presented by Ms Áilín Doyle.  Áilín, a parishioner, lectured for a number of years in Moral Theology in The Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy.

PARISH OF HOWTH   -   CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

This year’s Carol service will be held in the Church on Monday 20th December at 7.30 p.m.  Anne Sorahan has agreed to lead the choirs this year and we invite all singers (choir members or not) who would like to take part to come to rehearsal on the following dates.  Sundays, 28th November and 12th December immediately after the 12 noon Mass.  The rehearsal will take place in the Church.  If you would like to be involved, please leave your name and contact telephone number with Barbara in the Parish Office.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

ANNUAL MASS FOR THOSE WHO DIED IN THE PAST YEAR
This Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 25th November at 8.00 p.m. in the Church.

VIGIL FOR HUMAN LIFE
The Holy Father will celebrate in Saint Peter’s Basilica a solemn ‘Vigil for all nascent human life’ coinciding with the First Vespers of the First Sunday of Advent.  A similar celebration will take place in the Saint Mary’s Pro Cathedral on Saturday 27th November at 4.00 p.m. led by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin which will be incorporated into the Annual Diocesan Advent Service.  The atmosphere for these Advent celebrations is quiet and tranquil and you are invited to begin your season of prayerful preparation in this quiet oasis.
